if there is no purpose for being here?
If you say there is no purpose to life and that we just rot in the ground when we die, then you might as well do whatever you want to do. If you want money you might as well steal whatever you want. Why bother with following the law? You might as well get whatever you want.
But you see, if you are reluctant to live that way, then you must believe there is something more to life. You appearently do believe there is some purpose to life. You might be reluctant to admit it, but you really do believe there must be some purpose to life.
