We believe these are circa Dec. 1919 in Germany on the Rhine.
We know from the Dusty Boyd letters that Co. D was billeted in a resort hotel on the Rhine in January, 1919.
This river and boat look very similar to a photo in Ohio In The Rainbow of a ferry boat on the Rhine being guarded by men of the 166th.
Could this be part of the surroundings of the resort hotel Dusty Boyd spoke of in his letter?
More of the Rhine Valley we presume.
