May 15, 1875 in Marion, Marion Co., Ohio. Married Harvey Peters.
Elinor Pease Berkshire's ancestor. "My grandmother was raised by her aunts
in Baltimore, moving to Marion in 1857. She married Harvey Peters, son of Nathan
and Alice Peters, on December 29, 1864 at the home of sister, Mrs. Edward Palmer,
in Baltimore. Harvey Peters conducted a drug store with his older brother, Wilson
Peters, until selling the business in 1881 because of ill health. Considering
the fact that she raised her family on a very limited income and that she had
been separated from her brothers and their families at such an early age, I marvel
that she always managed to maintain such close family ties and instilled in us
a great sense of family togetherness. Until her death, we spent all of our summer
vacations and Christmas holidays in her spacious home in Marion and I have thousands
of happy memories of these visits."-E. Berkshire
"We knew her as "Aunt Pattie' and many times visited in her home on
South Prospect Street. It was there that we became acquainted with Fanny Peters
and the five Pease 'cousins'".-LAB Martha Ann BOYD and Harvey PETERS were
