1997 VacationNew Orleans, Huntsville, BiloxiI remember the air conditioner in the van was weak. When we came out of the space center in Huntsville, it was very hot. We drove a little while and it was still really hot in the van. Then it rained and cooled down.In New Orleans, the sun shining on the back of the van caused the back door to warp so that it wouldn't close properly. We stayed in a LaQuinta hotel and there were some kind of big bugs (was it crickets?). In New Orleans, we took a biou tour and saw some aligators. They hung a dead chicken on a string and the gator ate it. Just a medium sized gator. They went out on the beach in Biloxi. Dad didn't. |
