was born on Nov 10, 1818 in Near Potomac, Cumberland Co., Pennsylvania.
She died on Nov 26, 1901 in Prospect, Marion Co., Ohio.9 She was buried in Otterbein Cem., Marion Co., Ohio.

From Prospect Monitor, Dec. 6, 1901:
On Nov. 26, 1907, Mrs. Malinda Boyd in the 84 year of her age passed peacefully
away at her home hear Prospect.
Malinda Smith Selanders was born in Cumberland county, Pennsylvania, Nov. 10,
1818. With her parents she came to Waldo township, Marion county, Ohio when 13
years of age. In 1840 was united in marriage to Sylvester Boyd, who many years
preceeded her to the home beyond. She was a charter member of the Prospect Presbyterian
church where she remained a consistent member till death.
Mrs. Boyd was a woman of the highest type, bearing in her character the indedible
marks of the Christian life. She was loving, faithful, hopeful and helpful as
a wife and mother, and as a friend and neighbor she was greatly loved. Until
prevented by ill health she was faithful in attendance at public worship and
at home she always delighted to hear the scriptures read and prayer offered in
her presence.
Having fought the good fight and kept the faith she has gone to recieve the promised
crown. Those who knew her can not doubt the welcome she recieved in the Heavenly
home. Can we not hear the words of the Savior whom she so much trusted, saying
with her "Well done good and faithful servant." and "Come Ye Blessed
of my Father."

E. BOYD was born on Oct 7, 1844 in Prospect, Marion Co., Ohio.
He died in 1925 in Prospect, Marion Co., Ohio. He was buried in
Prospect Cem., Marion Co., Ohio. "Married Sara J. Hopkins.
They had three children: Adda M., Corra Ellen, and Harry"- (E. Berkshire)
Buried with Sarah (1844-1929) and H.P. Boyd (1881-1892), perhaps their son Harry.

farmer. Appearently single.
