2021 Bill Glass Day of Champions, London-Marysville

On September 24, Ted Ryan and I drove down to Columbus to attend the "tailgate party" and then the Ignite and Prepare session for the London-Marysville even. I really decided to go to this event because Ted wanted someone to drive (he doesn't like to drive at night). I told him, I'd be glad to drive him to whatever prison event he wanted to go to. And I was blessed just watching Ted walk around the prison that day (he's 88 years old folks, and still doing prison ministry - one of my heroes!)

On the drive down to Columbus, I told Ted that I had been thinking about Bob Ray. I went on several Bill Glass events with Bob, and of course knew Bob very well.

When I arrived at the Bill Glass event, one of the first people I saw was John Fliet, who is part of the Bob Ray legend. When Bob first met John, he immediately said, "When was the accident?" And John replied, "What accident?" And Bob quipped, "The one your barber was killed in!"

During the meeting, Michael ?? told about Lentrail and how he attend the "Bill Glass Bible study" at MANCI and then met Bob Ray and then lived with Bob when he got out of prison, and then became a pastor at Berean.

Then sitting around waiting on lunch the topic of Bob came up. Clearly he is legend in the Ohio Bill Glass world.
