The Happiest Day?Its said that the happiest two days in a boaters life is the day he buys it and the day he sells it.Today, August 8, 2009, I bought (or agreed to buy) the S2 6.8 sailboat. Here's the photo from the craigslist ad. 
I've gotten the boat home now - some photos. Its exciting and scary. Can I make good use of this? Will I be able to learn how to sail it? Will it sit in the garage and never get used? Is there some major problem with the boat that I'll discover when I get it home? God says, "Fear not," so that's what I'll do. I'll just enjoy this blessing. There is a double blessing here, I think because I'm not only getting a boat that I can enjoy with my family, I suspect I just made a new friend in Ed Ramsey, the S2 expert that lives here in Mansfield.
