Learning To SailSeptember 6, 2009, I got my first shot at sailing. My niece Shelly took me on a Sunfish at Lakeside.I still need to set my boat up in the driveway and then get over to the lake. I'm more anxious than ever now that I got a chance to try my hand at sailing. I'm anxious to see how my S2 sails! October 3rd, 2009, Tim Schill came over to the house and helped me put the mast up and put the boom on. That was a tremendous help and encouragement. Tim knows what he's doing and it was a real blessing to have his help. I think he was frustrated with me because he wanted me to take the boat to Clearfork and leave it there until November, but I just wasn't ready to do that. There are things I want to fix before I leave it on the lake at a dock. |
